Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA)- PC

Bruce Community Living Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Nurse-CNA to join our team! 

Details: 

Shift Hours- 7am to 7pm 

 The Personal Care Nurse-CNA is responsible for providing hands-on care and support to residents in a personal care setting under the direction of licensed nursing staff and in accordance with resident care plans, established standards of care, and company policies and procedures 

Responsibilities: 

• Demonstrate a visible commitment to the Bruce CLC mission, vision, and values while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in accordance with individual care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living , including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as needed.
• Measure and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other information as directed.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns or changes to the nurse.
• Assist with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Provide incontinence care and maintain resident comfort and dignity.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment.
• Answer resident call lights and respond to resident needs in a timely and respectful manner.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and maintain their independence whenever possible.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, families, visitors, and members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required.
• Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain the confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification in good standing
• Current CPR certification required or obtained within the required timeframe.
• Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, personal care, or a healthcare setting preferred.
