Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a core member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy, governance framework, and long\-term value creation. This role goes beyond financial stewardship — it plays a critical part in strategic decision\-making, capital planning, IPO readiness, and enterprise risk management.

The CFO will work closely with the Board and promoters, acting as a strategic advisor while ensuring financial discipline across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute the organization’s financial strategy aligned with long\-term business goals
  




• Partner with leadership on growth planning, capital allocation, and profitability optimization
  




• Provide strategic insights to support expansion, investments, and business restructuring
  

Financial Planning, Reporting & Control

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long\-term financial planning processes
  




• Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent financial reporting to the Board and stakeholders
  




• Establish and monitor financial KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics
  

IPO Readiness & Regulatory Compliance

• Lead IPO\-related financial preparedness and compliance initiatives
  




• Coordinate with legal, audit, and external advisors on regulatory filings and disclosures
  




• Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and statutory compliance
  

Risk Management & Governance

• Identify financial, operational, and market risks and implement mitigation strategies
  




• Ensure compliance with applicable financial laws, accounting standards, and regulations
  




• Drive a culture of ethical financial management and strong governance
  

Team Leadership & Cross\-Functional Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high\-performing finance and accounts team
  




• Collaborate with business heads, operations, merchandising, and supply\-chain teams
  




• Enable data\-driven decision\-making across functions
  

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualification

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
  

Experience

• 5+ years in senior financial leadership roles such as CFO / Finance Director / Head of Finance
  




• Strong exposure to large\-scale retail, manufacturing, or consumer\-driven businesses
  




• Hands\-on experience in IPO compliance or public\-company financial reporting
