Job Description - Chief Architecture & Design

Responsibilities

Lead the architectural and design team in developing innovative and sustainable design solutions for real estate projects.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design concepts align with project requirements and objectives.

Provide strategic direction and guidance on architectural design, materials selection, and construction techniques.

Oversee the development of architectural drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in architectural design and construction.

Mentor and coach team members to foster professional growth and development within the architecture and design team.

Ensure adherence to relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and project management, to achieve project goals and objectives.

Qualifications
Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Real Estate industry.

Demonstrated expertise in architectural design, project management, and team leadership.

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex real estate projects from conception to completion.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.

Certification required:

Professional Architectural License.

Behavioural Skills:

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Effective collaboration and team management capabilities.

Attention to detail and quality orientation.

Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.

Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction standards.

Experience with sustainable design practices and green building certifications.

Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
