Chief Financial Officer (GATSEB)

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee strategic financial planning, governance, and operations for a global tech marketplace. The role involves partnering with senior leadership, ensuring compliance across US and Indian entities, and driving financial performance through strong analytical and leadership capabilities.

Strategic Leadership  

• Provide financial leadership to support executive decision-making and long-term strategic planning  
  

• Advise the Group CFO, CEO and Board on financial performance, risks, and opportunities  
  

• Translate overall business goals into financial targets and operational plans  
  

• Support with transition of various functions, and integrations
  

Financial Management & Planning  

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across all business units  
  

• Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial health  
  

• Monitor key financial metrics, identifying trends and variances for corrective action  
  

• Ensure robust financial reporting processes and timely delivery of insights  
  

Accounting, Governance & Compliance  

• Ensure full compliance with Indian GAAP and US GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory requirements  
  

• Have an oversight on accounting function, and provide timely reports to US HQ, in desired form
  

• Liaise with external auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies  
  

• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.  
  

• Oversee risk management policies and enterprise risk assessments  
  

Operational Oversight  

• Provide financial oversight for pricing, vendor contracts, and capital expenditures  
  

• Partner with business leads to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization  
  

• Evaluate and improve financial systems, tools, and automation initiatives  
  

• Ensure finance team readiness and continuity during the interim period.  
  

Stakeholder Communication  

• Prepare and present financial updates to Group CFO, Senior Management and Board
  

• Communicate financial strategy and performance to internal and external stakeholders  
  

• Support various corporate initiatives and manage banking relationships  
  

Team Leadership & Transition Support  

• Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and accountability  
  

• Stabilize finance operations during leadership transition  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• MBA or CA required. US CPA would be an added plus
  

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally within the tech industry  
  

• Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital management  
  

• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities 
  

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including board-level reporting  
  

• Collaborative leadership style
