Job Description - Chief Guest Experience Manager, Reservations


ABOUT US


Sunmoon Stays is a fast growing name in the London premium hospitality space.


We opened our doors in early spring 2013 and hosted our first unsuspecting guests (from France) on our very first day. Since then we have had the honour of welcoming over 1,500 guests from around the world including the usual smattering of key members of businesses, members of Government, Grammy winners and even royalty!!


We have doubled in size in the last one year and are looking to keep up the pace in 2015. As part of the expansion, we are setting up a base in India to engage with our clients globally and also manage the ground team in London.


ABOUT THE CANDIDATE


You would be looking to be take on a dynamic and challenging role in the new Mumbai Control Center. We are seeking the confident star with the following qualities:



  • Excellent communication skills with customer service mentality

  • Commercial acumen and open to learning new things

  • Willingness to work in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Good Numeracy and a very good handle on MS Office (Excel and Word)


We would prefer people with a 2-3 year background with good names in the Hospitality industry (reservations, revenue management and guest support). We would love to hear from you if you have lived in the UK and particularly in London.


ABOUT THE ROLE


The role is a permanent full time role working for a UK company. We have a competitive compensation package for the right candidate as well as some great incentives. We have listed some of the key responsibilities of the role below:



  • Managing guest interaction from first contact (enquiry) to arrival

  • Handing over of guest to the on ground team in London

  • Review and propose pricing and promotions based on market intelligence

  • Managing distribution channels (Booking.com, Expedia.com etc.)

  • Review management

  • Controlling activities of the on ground team in London as needed

  • Adhoc marketing activities as needed

  • Managing invoicing and payments
