Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage end -to -end land acquisition
processes for infrastructure projects (Railway/Highway/Metro/Other BOT
projects).
· Liaise with State/Central Government
authorities, local administration, revenue departments, and other stakeholders
to facilitate smooth acquisition and transfer of land.
· Ensure compliance with the Right to Fair
Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and
Resettlement Act, 2013 and other relevant land and revenue laws.
· Develop strategies to mitigate risks and resolve
challenges related to land disputes, compensation, resettlement, and
rehabilitation.
· Coordinate with legal teams, project managers,
and contractors to ensure land -related clearances are aligned with project
schedules.
· Prepare and maintain accurate records,
documentation, and reports of land acquisition progress.
· Provide expert advice to management on land
acquisition policies, legal implications, and stakeholder engagement.
· Represent the organization in negotiations,
meetings, and discussions with government authorities and affected parties.
Experience Requirements
· Total Professional Experience: Minimum 15
years of professional experience.
· Relevant Experience (any one of the
following)
At least 5 years’ experience in Railway/Highway
projects as a Liaison Manager with direct involvement in land acquisition for
BOT/Construction Agencies.
At least 3 years at Manager level or above in a Railway
PSU handling construction project with significant land acquisition
responsibilities.
At least 3 years in State Government
Administration/Revenue Department as a Gazetted Officer handling and enabling
land acquisition for infrastructure projects.
Key Skills & Competencies
· In -depth knowledge of Land Acquisition Laws and
Revenue Laws (mandatory).
· Strong negotiation, coordination, and
stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to navigate complex legal and
administrative frameworks.
· Excellent communication, documentation, and
leadership skills.
· Proven track record of handling large -scale land
acquisition projects.
· Ability to manage conflict resolution with
fairness and transparency.
· High integrity and strong ethical standards.
· Familiarity with rehabilitation &
resettlement (R&R) frameworks.
