We are seeking a seasoned HR leader to take on the role of Chief Manager – HR PMO & Projects, responsible for driving large-scale HR transformation initiatives and ensuring strong governance across programs. This role sits at the intersection of HR strategy and business execution, focusing on delivering high-impact projects that align with organizational goals.
You will lead the end-to-end management of HR programs, including system implementations, workforce restructuring, policy rollouts, and organizational change initiatives. The role requires a structured, data-driven approach to project execution, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable business impact. You will also play a key role in embedding governance frameworks, tracking performance metrics, and enabling smooth transition of projects into business-as-usual operations.
Acting as a central point of coordination, you will collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, business leaders, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless execution of initiatives. This role demands strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while driving continuous improvement across HR processes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Lead planning, execution, and governance of strategic HR projects and transformation initiatives
Ensure alignment of HR programs with business strategy, workforce planning, and organizational goals
Establish and manage PMO frameworks, including project tracking, risk management, and reporting structures
Monitor key HR and business metrics such as attrition, workforce mix, productivity, and headcount trends
Drive financial discipline by managing HR budgets, fixed pay, and operational costs
Develop dashboards, MIS reports, and leadership updates to track performance and outcomes
Collaborate with HR COEs, finance, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery of initiatives
Manage interdependencies across projects and ensure timely resolution of issues
Support change management efforts, including communication, adoption, and capability building
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency
Ensure successful transition of projects into ongoing operations
What Makes You a Great Fit
10–12 years of experience in HR PMO, HR transformation, or strategic HR roles
Strong understanding of workforce analytics, HR metrics, and financial tracking
Proven experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
Strong business acumen with a data-driven and analytical mindset
Experience in governance frameworks, reporting, and performance tracking
Ability to drive change management and organizational transformation
Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Experience in BFSI or large, complex organizations is an advantage
MBA or postgraduate qualification in HR, Business, or related field
