Job Description - Chief Manager- Sales

JOB OVERVIEW:

The incumbent will be responsible for managing the overall business of the cosmetic division of PNS, including the sales and administration process and lead generation and opportunity pipeline management, thereby supporting and driving sales of the cosmetic portfolio worldwide.

This role will play a key part in the management of sales globally and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

Business Development team, R&D, Planning, Quality, Regulatory & Manufacturing units

 KEY STAKEHOLDERS: EXTERNAL

Customers in the cosmetics industry - Worldwide

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

Reports to: AVP & Business Head-PNS

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • High understanding and networking within the cosmetic industry
  • Effective communication skills – both written and verbal are a must
  • Confident and able to work with internal stakeholders of different teams and departments
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think strategically, plan meticulously and execute methodically
  • KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the Retinol product portfolio and its benefits
  • Guide & and support the cosmetic team to grow the business,
  • To actively generate new sales opportunities by engaging professionally on a global level, the focus will be on the US market
  • To chart and execute go-to-market sales strategies to grow business with existing accounts and penetrate new accounts
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities to accurately map the placement of new prospects in the purchasing process
  • To maintain strong relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities
  • To liaise with the internal stakeholders like demand planning, production and logistics departments to ensure timely deliveries of the orders
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (like finance, R&D, planning, regulatory, production, quality) and collaborate with them to support customer
  • requirements
  • Develop and maintain a current understanding of the cosmetic ingredients marketplace ( market conditions, trends and competitors) and share insights with the team
  • on regular basis.
  • Active participation in process improvement projects
  • Capture all the interactions with customers, internal colleagues and other relevant data into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM ) software application
  • Leverage the marketing initiatives to support sales achievement.
