Job Description - Chief of Staff to CEO

Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Chief
of Staff
to directly support the CEO in overseeing the execution of key
projects and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a substantial
experience in project management with a focus on structural, construction,
infrastructure, EPC or engineering projects. As the Chief of Staff, you will
act as the right hand of the CEO, ensuring smooth operations, facilitating
communication across departments, and driving the successful completion of
strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project
    Oversight & Coordination:

    • Work
      closely with the CEO to monitor, prioritize, and drive key projects,
      ensuring alignment with company objectives.
    • Lead
      cross -functional teams to ensure timely and effective execution of
      projects.
    • Establish
      and track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, providing regular
      updates to the CEO.
    • Serve
      as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
      regarding project status, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Strategic
    Support:

    • Assist
      in developing and executing the strategic vision of the company, with a
      particular focus on improving project delivery and operational
      efficiencies.
    • Manage
      the CEO’s agenda, including project review meetings, briefings, and key
      decision -making sessions.
    • Facilitate
      the flow of information between the CEO and senior leadership team to
      ensure alignment on key projects and initiatives.
  • Leadership
    & Team Development:

    • Foster
      collaboration among various departments, including engineering,
      operations, and construction teams.
    • Provide
      mentorship and guidance to project managers and other key personnel
      involved in large -scale projects.
    • Ensure
      that the leadership team remains focused on the company's strategic goals
      and objectives, particularly in the context of project execution.
  • Operational
    Efficiency:

    • Identify
      and eliminate bottlenecks or inefficiencies in project workflows,
      offering innovative solutions.
    • Develop
      and implement best practices for project management, ensuring adherence
      to industry standards and company guidelines.
    • Analyse
      project data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize project
      performance and outcomes. 
  • Executive
    Communication & Reporting:

    • Prepare
      executive reports, presentations, and project status updates for the CEO
      and board meetings.
    • Communicate
      CEO's directives and strategic objectives clearly and effectively across
      teams.
    • Represent
      the CEO in meetings or negotiations as needed, ensuring that priorities
      are maintained.


Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational
    Qualifications:

    • B.Tech
      in Civil Engineering
      or a related field is required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum
      of 5 -10 years of experience in project management within
      the civil engineering, EPC Industries, structural, construction, or
      infrastructure industries.
    • Proven
      experience in leading large -scale projects, managing cross -functional
      teams, and ensuring timely project delivery.
    • Strong
      understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Lean,
      or traditional project management frameworks.
