Job Description - Chief Program Officer

Position Overview:

The Chief Program Officer is a strategic leadership role responsible for providing high-level support to the Executive Leadership Team and the Founder's Code Team, to manage and monitor multiple programs seamlessly.

This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple programs and projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

The Chief Program Officer serves as a key advisor and confidant to the executive team, helping to shape and execute the company's vision, goals, and initiatives through effective Program Management.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives that drive the company's growth and success.
  • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  • Communication and Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison between the executive team, department heads, and external stakeholders. Facilitate clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Program and Project Management: Manage key projects and initiatives from conception to completion, coordinating cross-functional teams and resources to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Create Agile Dashboards for sensitizing the core team about the Program progress and key highlights and low lights of the programs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of staff members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on achieving company goals.
  • Strategic Analysis: Conduct research, data analysis, and market assessments to inform strategic decision-making and identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges to the organization's success and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Organizational Development: Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and professional development initiatives to build a high-performing team and cultivate a positive work environment.
  • Culture Champion: Uphold and promote the company's values, culture, and code of conduct, serving as a role model for ethical leadership and integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as Head of Programs, managing PMO or equivalent, with a track record of success in strategic planning and execution.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve excellence.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality, with the ability to handle sensitive information and situations with professionalism and integrity.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends, with a continuous learning mindset and a commitment to personal and professional development.
