Chief Technology Officer

We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer for one of our retail clients in the jewellery sector.

The CTO will own the complete technology backbone of the business, including jewellery ERP, POS systems, RFID -based inventory management, data and BI, digital commerce, cybersecurity, and DPDP compliance. This is a business -critical role where technology directly impacts store operations, inventory accuracy, customer experience, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the jewellery ERP landscape across manufacturing, inventory, POS, finance, and retail operations.
  
• Manage POS infrastructure across stores, ensuring high uptime, reliability, and smooth integrations.
  
• Deploy and maintain RFID -based inventory systems to improve stock accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
  
• Build data and BI infrastructure for real -time visibility into sales, inventory, customers, and store performance.
  
• Own the website and mobile app, and drive digital commerce performance with the business team.
  
• Ensure cybersecurity, data privacy, and DPDP Act 2023 compliance.
  
• Lead technology strategy, vendor management, build -vs -buy decisions, and system scalability.
  

Requirements

Required Experience

• 12–18 years of technology experience, with at least 4 years in a CTO, Head of Technology, or equivalent leadership role.
  
• Strong experience in retail technology, preferably jewellery, luxury retail, or inventory -heavy businesses.
  
• Experience with ERP, POS systems, RFID deployment, data/BI, and digital commerce.
  
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and technology operations.
  
• Ability to work closely with COO, CFO, CMO, store teams, finance, and external vendors.
