Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering \nOR \nPhD in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Master\u0027s Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. \n\n\u2022 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \n\n\u2022 Hands-on experience working in mobile, PC, XR, Wearable, Automotive, Consumer or Industrial IoT industry; \n\n * Experience with full product lifecycle from requirements gathering, prototype development, production, knowledge of PCB design flow, EDA tools, electrical and thermal simulations.\n\n * In depth knowledge of power delivery, PDN, component selection, tuning, Voltage regulators, PMICs, eBOM\n\n * Good knowledge of interfaces (USB, PCIe, SD/eMMC, UFS, LPDDRx, CSI, DSI, SPI, I2C, SPMI, Slimbus etc)\n\n * Good domain knowledge of 2 or more functional areas of SoCs such as Application Processor, Display, Graphics, Camera, Video, AI, Modem (4G/5G), WLAN, Power Management etc.\n\n * Working with a wide cross functional team comprising of various design and software teams, product management, reliability, functional safety, business, sales and customer engineering.\n\n\n\n\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n\u2022 Applies Systems knowledge and experience to research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions while ensuring system-level requirements and standards are met.\n\n\u2022 Performs functional analysis to drive requirements and specifications and to define and align with standards for hardware and software.\n\n\u2022 Develops and analyzes system level design including requirements, interface definition, functional/performance definition, and implementation of a new system or modification of an existing system.\n\n\u2022 Collaborates with own team and other teams to complete project work, including implementing and testing features and verifying the accuracy of systems.\n\n\u2022 Develops new and innovative ideas (e.g. IDFs) for a product or feature area.\n\n\u2022 Drives triage of problems at the system level to determine root cause and presents results of testing and debugging to team members.\n\nLevel of Responsibility:\n\n\u2022 Works independently with minimum supervision.\n\n\u2022 Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.\n\n\u2022 Requires expert verbal and written communication skills to convey information.
