If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\n\nWe are currently seeking a CICS consultant to join our team in pune, Mah\u0101r\u0101shtra (IN-MH), India (IN).\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAs a CICS system programmer, you\u2019ll need to:\n\n * Installing, administrating, maintaining, resourcing definitions and supporting CICS systems software\n * Supporting and maintaining CICS production including \u0027out of hours\u0027 troubleshooting\n * Providing technical assistance to developers and application support teams\n * Designing and developing new hardware and software technology solutions\n * Leading and directing problem investigation and recovery in complex situations\n * Install and test new versions of CICS\n * Provide 2nd and 3rd Level Support for applications that use CICS.\n * Establish the needs of users and monitor user access and security\n * Monitor performance and manage parameters in order to provide fast responses to front-end users\n * Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans\n * Ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly\n * Ensure there is provision for data security and recovery control (ensuring all data is retrievable in an emergency).\n\n\n\nRequired Skillset\n\n * CICS System Programmer or Technical Specialist experience\n * Knowledge of a combination of the following products:\n * CICS Transaction Server 4.2 and/or 5.3\n * SMP/E\n * Omegamon/CICS\n * ACF2 \u0026 RACF\n * Mainframe SYSPlex environment experience is preferred\n * A flexible and adaptable management style with experience of developing yourself and others\n * A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long-term risks and implications\n * #LI-NorthAmerica\n\n\n\nAbout NTT DATA\n\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
