This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Circinus - QA Audio Contributor (English) based in India.
This is a remote freelance opportunity designed for fluent English speakers who want to contribute to the development of next-generation AI and voice technologies. You will take part in a structured audio data collection project by recording short scripted prompts in a clear and natural voice. The role is simple, flexible, and task-based, making it suitable for individuals looking to earn additional income while working remotely. You will follow clear guidelines to ensure consistency, audio quality, and accuracy in recordings. The work directly supports the improvement of AI systems that rely on high-quality speech data. It is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented individuals who are comfortable speaking English and using basic recording tools in a remote setup.
Accountabilities:
- Record short scripted audio prompts (typically under one minute each) using a laptop or desktop device
- Read and deliver scripts in clear, natural, and accurate English pronunciation following provided guidelines
- Ensure audio recordings meet quality standards, including clarity, consistency, and minimal distortion
- Follow project instructions carefully to maintain accuracy and uniformity across all recordings
- Use basic audio setup (headset or external microphone recommended) to ensure acceptable sound quality
- Complete assigned tasks within the expected timeframe and maintain adherence to project requirements
Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in English with strong spoken fluency
- Ability to read and understand written instructions in English clearly
- Basic technical setup including a laptop/desktop and stable internet connection
- Ability to produce clear audio recordings with minimal background noise, echo, or distortion
- Attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines accurately
- Prior experience in voice recording, QA tasks, or data collection is a plus but not required
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a remote freelance environment
