Description

Key Responsibilities Program & Project Management

Manage end-to-end delivery of GCP-based cloud transformation and migration initiatives.

Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocation plans, and governance frameworks.

Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, quality, and timeline commitments.

Drive Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies as per customer requirements.

Establish project governance models, steering committees, and review mechanisms.

Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and escalations.

Cloud Transformation & Delivery

Lead infrastructure migration and modernization projects on Google Cloud Platform.

Coordinate cloud assessments, landing-zone setup, migration waves, and cutover activities.

Work closely with Cloud Architects, Engineers, Security teams, and Operations teams.

Ensure adherence to cloud best practices, security controls, and compliance requirements.

Support cloud adoption and optimization initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

Act as primary liaison between customer, delivery teams, vendors, and leadership.

Conduct executive-level status reviews and business updates.

Manage customer expectations and drive stakeholder satisfaction.

Facilitate decision-making during major project milestones and risk scenarios.

Financial & Resource Management

Track project revenue, margins, forecasting, and budget utilization.

Manage resource planning, utilization, onboarding, and ramp-down activities.

Monitor effort tracking and productivity metrics.

Support presales and estimation activities for upcoming engagements.

Risk & Compliance Management

Identify and mitigate delivery, operational, and technical risks.

Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies).

Ensure compliance with organizational and customer governance standards.

Coordinate audits, reporting, and regulatory requirements.

Required Technical Skills Google Cloud Platform (Mandatory)

Strong understanding of GCP architecture and services:
- Compute Engine
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Cloud Storage
- VPC Networking
- IAM
- Cloud SQL
- BigQuery
- Cloud Monitoring & Logging
- Backup and Disaster Recovery Solutions

Cloud & Infrastructure

Cloud Migration Strategies (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor).

Hybrid Cloud and Multi-Cloud environments.

Infrastructure Modernization initiatives.

Containerization and Kubernetes concepts.

DevOps and CI/CD fundamentals.

Project Management Tools

Jira

Azure DevOps

MS Project

ServiceNow

Confluence

Smartsheet

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred).

Google Cloud Professional Certifications preferred:
- Professional Cloud Architect
- Professional Cloud Network Engineer
- Associate Cloud Engineer

Experience Requirements

10+ years of overall IT experience.

5+ years of Project/Program Management experience.

3+ years managing GCP-based cloud transformation programs.

Experience handling global customers, preferably BFSI or Financial Services clients.

Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar cloud engagements.
