Job Description – L3 Cisco ACI Consulting Engineer (Onsite Operations Support)

Location: Chennai (Onsite)

Shift: Rotational Shift (24×7 Support, if required)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced L3 Cisco ACI Consulting Engineer to provide onsite operational support for enterprise Data Center and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus platforms, Routing & Switching, WAN technologies, and enterprise network troubleshooting.

The role involves managing Cisco ACI environments, supporting critical production infrastructure, troubleshooting complex network issues, performing firmware upgrades, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of the network environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesCisco ACI Operations

• Provide expert-level operational support for Cisco ACI infrastructure.


• Configure, administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco ACI environments.


• Perform proactive monitoring, health checks, and preventive maintenance.


• Support ACI implementation, upgrades, firmware updates, and operational activities.


• Troubleshoot ACI fabric, policy, and connectivity-related issues.

Network Administration

• Install, configure, and support Cisco routers, switches, and Nexus platforms.


• Perform firmware and software upgrades on network devices.


• Replace faulty hardware components and coordinate hardware replacement activities.


• Monitor network health and ensure maximum availability of enterprise infrastructure.


• Prepare and share network status reports with stakeholders.

Troubleshooting & Incident Management

• Participate in maintenance activities, implementation planning, and technical discussions.

Technical Requirements

• Strong understanding of Cisco ACI architecture and operations.


• In-depth knowledge of Cisco Nexus 9000 Series deployment and administration.


• Strong knowledge of enterprise Routing & Switching technologies.


• Good understanding of MPLS architecture and WAN technologies.


• Ability to troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues.


• Experience in firmware upgrades and lifecycle management of network devices.

• Cisco CCNP Data Center / CCIE Data Center certification will be an added advantage.


• Cisco ACI certification is preferred.
