City Head – Sales (Inside Sales & Field Sales)

Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven City Head to manage and grow a high-performing sales team combining both Inside Sales and Field Sales functions. The role involves overseeing the full sales cycle, driving daily team reviews and field engagement, ensuring revenue targets are met, and driving strategic growth within the assigned city/cluster.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of 9+ members, comprising both Inside Sales and Field Sales


• Conduct daily team meetings to review pipeline and priorities, followed by active field visits to support and coach the team on-ground


• Take complete ownership and accountability for the team's sales targets and overall achievement, month on month


• Develop new accounts and maintain a healthy pipeline across inside and field sales channels


• Drive new client acquisition and revenue generation


• Provide professional service and advice to enhance client satisfaction


• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and product innovations


• Contribute to sales strategies and marketing plans for the assigned region


• Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely collections


• Report from the Gurgaon office

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of overall experience in B2B sales


• Minimum 6 years of team management experience, leading a mix of inside sales and field sales representatives (mandatory)


• Proficient in CRM tools and Excel


• Basic knowledge of ERP systems


• Strong knowledge of local markets and B2B sales

Candidate Profile

• Proven leadership, field coaching, and performance tracking abilities


• Comfortable with daily field visits


• Excellent communication and presentation skills


• Currently based in Gurgaon (mandatory)


• Experience in product demos, especially in SaaS, is a plus
