Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of Civil and Structural Design in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. We are seeking skilled and motivated professionals with sound knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles. The role involves structural analysis, design calculations, preparation and review of engineering drawings, and coordination with project stakeholders. Candidates with relevant design experience and proficiency in structural engineering software are encouraged to apply early as positions are limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures according to project requirements.
  
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  
• Develop and review structural drawings, layouts, sections, and construction details.
  
• Use structural analysis and design software to evaluate loads, forces, stability, and member requirements.
  
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, civil, MEP, and project requirements.
  
• Review drawings and designs for technical accuracy and constructability.
  
• Ensure designs follow applicable engineering codes, standards, and safety requirements.
  
• Support project teams in resolving structural design and site-related technical issues.
  

Required Skills

1. Structural Analysis: Ability to analyse structural systems, loads, forces, and member behaviour.
   
2. RCC Design: Knowledge of reinforced concrete member design and detailing.
   
3. Steel Structure Design: Understanding of structural steel members, connections, and stability.
   
4. AutoCAD: Ability to prepare and review detailed engineering drawings.
   
5. STAAD.Pro / Structural Design Software: Hands-on capability in structural modelling, analysis, and design.
   

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ETABS or similar structural engineering software.
  
• Knowledge of relevant IS codes and engineering standards.
  
• Experience coordinating structural drawings with multidisciplinary project teams.
  

Work Experience Requirements
