Civil Cost & Estimation Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a Civil Cost & Estimation Engineer with around 2 years of experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and budgeting for residential and commercial projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of materials and construction methods, and attention to detail to ensure accurate project costing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for luxury residential and commercial projects.
  

• Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
  

• Assist in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and rate analysis.
  

• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations to ensure cost competitiveness.
  

• Support in budgeting, tendering, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  

• Work closely with design, procurement, and site teams to align cost estimates with project requirements.
  

• Maintain cost records and prepare periodic reports for management.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  

• 2 years of relevant experience in estimation and costing.
  

• Strong knowledge of rate analysis, BOQ preparation, and tendering process.
  

• Familiarity with MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software/tools.
  

• Understanding of local market rates for materials and labor.
  

• Analytical, detail-oriented, and good communication skills.
