ROLE
We seek a technical subject matter expert (SME) in the area of data migration. This is an individual that is experienced with various database technologies and scripting as well as best practices for migrating data from on-premise systems to the cloud.

ROLE
We seek a technical subject matter expert (SME) in the area of data migration. This is an individual that is experienced with various database technologies and scripting as well as best practices for migrating data from on-premise systems to the cloud.
The right candidate is an individual that loves to roll up their sleeves to lead data mapping, develop extraction and transformation logic where applicable, and execute the end-to-end migration. They have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working with Customers, and bring forward new technical solutions to elevate team standards.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is an in-office position located in Trivandrum, requiring attendance 4+ days per week. By submitting your application, you confirm that you are either presently located in Trivandrum or prepared to relocate. Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
In this role you can expect to:
- Execute data mapping and migration activities across multiple client implementation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget alignment, and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a Technical SME for importing data to Salesforce, Propel, and integrations, guiding clients on complex workflows and best practices.
- Analyze source/target systems, define mapping rules, and transform data into the required format for import to Propel.
- Develop and execute scripts, tools, to transform and migrate data effectively
- Perform data cleansing, validate accuracy, and ensure data integrity between systems
- Collaborate with Customer source system data owners / providers as needed.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including mapping templates, timesheets, and status updates in systems like Salesforce and PSA.
- Contribute to services development, team training, product feedback, and occasional sales support.
- Participate in internal initiatives, team events, and support onboarding of new employees and partners.
To be successful in this role you bring:
- 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with end-to-end data migrations involving mapping, extraction, transformation, import and associated data quality assurance. Preferred experience in migrating data from on-premise to cloud platforms. Prior data migration work with PLM/QMS/ERP vendors such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, PTC, Siemens, and others is also a plus.
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL (PL/SQL), database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), ETL tools, .CSV or other delimited file formats, Microsoft Excel,
- Technical experience with programming languages such as Python & Java.
- Familiarity with AWS platform capabilities such as Lambda, EC2, S3
- Data Security practices for legacy to cloud conversion.
- Technical experience with databases, data modeling, and application design.
- Experience with Salesforce Apex, SOQL, Data Loader, Bulk APIs is a plus.
- Strong project management background in software implementations, with experience managing timelines, teams, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify data discrepancies.
- Clear, professional communicator with excellent writing, presentation, and grammar skills.
