Long Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Build/maintain CI/CD pipelines for ECS services (WS CM, Cloud API) and Lambda (TransactionManager) using GitHub Actions or CodePipeline.


• Manage container build, tagging, and deployment workflows for ECS Fargate via ECR.


• Implement blue/green and rolling deployments for zero-downtime releases.


• Provision environment-specific infrastructure (dev/staging/prod) with Terraform or AWS CDK; ensure parity.


• Operate/monitor ECS autoscaling, ALB health checks, and target groups for WebSocket workloads.


• Manage secrets/config (AWS Secrets Manager, SSM Parameter Store) across services.


• Build operational dashboards (CloudWatch, Grafana) for WS connections, reconnects, queue depths, Lambda errors, and latency.


• Set up alerts/on-call runbooks for critical scenarios (stale connections, DLQ backlog, terminal send failures, Lambda throttling).


• Support load testing for 10k+ concurrent WebSocket connections.


• Implement log aggregation/structured pipelines (CloudWatch Logs Insights, OpenSearch).

Required Technical Skills:

• 5+ Years in total Exp


• CI/CD: GitHub Actions or CodePipeline


• Docker/container build pipelines


• AWS ECS Fargate deployment/management


• IaC: Terraform or AWS CDK


• AWS: ALB, Target Groups, Health Checks


• AWS CloudWatch: dashboards, alarms, logs


• AWS Secrets Manager & SSM Parameter Store


• SQS monitoring & DLQ alerting


• AWS Lambda deployment/versioning


• Amazon ECR image lifecycle policies


• Git and branch-based release workflows


• Linux / Bash scripting

Engineering Standards:

• Strong Python or Bash scripting for automation/tools


• Familiarity with at least one app language (Node.js, Python, Go, Java) for diagnosing issues


• IaC in collaborative Git workflows (PRs, ownership, change management)


• Understanding of 12-factor apps, environment-based config, stateless deployments


• Read logs, interpret traces, and correlate distributed traces


• Semantic versioning, release tagging, artifact management


• Networking fundamentals: VPCs, subnets, SGs, DNS, LB routing


• Clear runbooks, post-mortems, and operational docs

Nice to Have:

• WebSocket-heavy workloads; connection lifecycle knowledge


• Redis cluster ops and DynamoDB capacity planning


• AWS Certifications (DevOps Engineer – Professional, SysOps Administrator)


• Fintech/payments/PCI-DSS exposure


• Load testing tools (k6, Locust, Artillery) for thousands of concurrent connections
