Cloud Engineer - II

• Manage day -to -day operations across AWS and GCP, including provisioning, configuration, scaling, and maintenance of cloud resources.
  
• Support compute, storage, networking, IAM, Kubernetes, and managed services across cloud environments.
  
• Implement and maintain infrastructure -as -code (Terraform preferred), and automation tooling.
  

• Support and maintain on -prem data centre infrastructure (HGX infrastructure) including servers, networking, storage, and rack management.
  
• Monitor system performance, hardware utilization, and ensure high availability of hosted workloads.
  
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and issue resolution.
  
• Manage and administer Linux servers (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL).
  
• Perform routine patching, updates, backup operations, and performance tuning.
  
• Troubleshoot OS -level, network, and application issues.
  

• Implement baseline security controls across cloud and on -prem environments.
  
• Assist in vulnerability assessments, patching, and remediation of identified risks.
  
• Help enforce compliance with security and privacy policies aligned to standards like ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and internal governance guidelines.
  
• Participate in incident response activities, root -cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  
• Provide timely support to internal teams for infrastructure and cloud -related issues.
  

• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge bases.
  
• Work with engineering and ml teams to support project deployments and operational requirements.
  
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  

Requirements

• At Least 3 years of hands -on experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
  
• Strong experience with Linux administration and system troubleshooting
  
• Understanding of virtualization, compute, storage concepts, VPCs, firewalls, and networking fundamentals.
  
• Experience with IaC frameworks (Terraform preferred).
  
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  
• Knowledge of data centre operations, monitoring, and hardware troubleshooting.
  
• Basic understanding of vulnerability management, identity and access controls, and data security principles.
  
• Knowledge of industry security standards such as ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, NIST, etc., is preferred.
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross -functional teams.
  
• Strong problem -solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to operations.
  

• Experience with budgeting/cost tracking on AWS or GCP.
  
• Exposure to privacy principles, data protection laws, and responsible data handling.
  
• Experience supporting AI/ML workloads or GPU infrastructure.
