Cloud Engineer – Telco Cloud Operations
Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer with 4+ years of experience to support and manage Telco Cloud Data Center operations .
The role requires hands -on expertise in cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, and automation, with a focus on service reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
The candidate will play a key role in ensuring stable, scalable, and secure cloud environments, while contributing to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Operations & Support
Manage and support Telco Cloud infrastructure operations across data centres.
Ensure system availability, performance, and SLA compliance.
Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).
Perform system monitoring, alert handling, and issue resolution.
Deploy, configure, and maintain Cloud / Virtualization platforms.
Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of cloud environments.
Assist in capacity planning and performance tuning.
Support automation of operational tasks to improve efficiency.
understanding of Nokia Airframe / HPE / Dell server hardware architecture.
Required Technical Skills
Cloud /Virtualization Platforms
Experience with one or more platforms :
OpenStack / OpenShift / Kubernetes / KVM / Proxmox
Nokia private Clouds - CBIS / NCS / NCP
Networking
Good understanding of networking fundamentals will be an added advantage.
Good -to -Have Skills
Familiarity with Shell Scripting, Python and Databases
Exposure to Grafana, Prometheus, and Zabbix
Behavioural Competencies
