Roles & Responsibilities

1. API Design & Development
   

   
   
   
   

   • Design, develop, and manage REST-based API proxies using Apigee X.
     

   
   

   • Define and implement API security, traffic management, analytics, and monitoring policies.
     

   
   

   • Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of API services.
     

   
   



2. Apigee X Architecture & Network
   

   
   
   
   

   • Architect and configure Apigee X network components, including hybrid/cloud setups.
     

   
   

   • Define and enforce governance standards for API lifecycle management.
     

   
   

   • Collaborate with solution architects to design end-to-end API integration strategies.
     

   
   



3. Cloud Engineering & Migration
   

   
   
   
   

   • Lead migration of APIs from legacy systems or Apigee Edge to Apigee X on GCP.
     

   
   

   • Work closely with cloud engineering teams to optimize network, security, and infrastructure.
     

   
   

   • Leverage GCP services for seamless integration with Apigee X.
     

   
   



4. CI/CD & DevOps Enablement
   

   
   
   
   

   • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated API deployment and testing.
     

   
   

   • Ensure compliance with DevOps and cloud security best practices.
     

   
   

   • Collaborate with development teams for continuous integration and delivery improvements.
     

   
   

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Apigee X design and implementation.
  




• Expertise in REST-based API proxy development.
  




• Solid knowledge of Apigee X network and architecture.
  




• Experience with GCP, CI/CD pipelines, cloud migration, and engineering practices.
  




• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and documentation skills.
