Cloud Infrastructure Service Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Services Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure, applications, databases, and platform services across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments. The role involves AWS cloud administration, Kubernetes (EKS), Planet9 platform management, security, monitoring, incident resolution, application deployments, and ensuring platform availability, performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Planet9 environments across all SDLC stages.


• Manage AWS Cloud Services and Amazon EKS (Kubernetes) infrastructure.


• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and platform performance; troubleshoot production issues.


• Perform platform upgrades, patching, maintenance, and environment configuration.


• Manage application deployments, production releases, and environment setup.


• Administer databases including backup, restore, refresh, migration, and data import/export.


• Configure and support SSO, IAM, SSL/TLS certificates, and security hardening.


• Manage user accounts, service accounts, and access permissions.


• Conduct proactive monitoring, health checks, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.


• Execute change, problem, and service request management while meeting SLA requirements.
