Project Role Description : Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), scripting, and monitoring automation execution. Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests. Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation.

Summary:
As a Cloud Operations Engineer, a typical day involves deploying, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure environments and applications by working across various technologies such as operating systems, databases, and virtual networks. The role includes automating monitoring processes through scripting and ensuring smooth incident management with a focus on restoring services promptly. The engineer supports operations related to compute, network, storage, security, and automation incidents or requests. Additionally, managing the rollout of patches and coordinating release schedules are key daily activities, requiring collaboration with multiple teams to maintain system stability and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of operational goals and priorities.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to meet service level agreements.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Netapp Network Attached Storage (NAS) Administration.
- Experience in managing cloud infrastructure components including operating systems, databases, and virtual networks.
- Strong scripting skills to automate monitoring and operational tasks.
- Ability to handle incident management with a focus on rapid service restoration.
- Knowledge of patch management and release implementation processes.
- Familiarity with security protocols and automation tools within cloud environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Netapp Network Attached Storage (NAS) Administration.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
