Description
As the Cluster Head for USGI Legal Entity, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) cases in the specified regions. Your strategic legal expertise and leadership skills will be crucial in ensuring effective case management and achieving favorable outcomes for the company. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the legal claims process and contribute to the success of the organization.

Responsibilities

Handle and oversee MACT cases with a strategic and legal-minded approach.
Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, ensuring efficient case management.
Maintain strong knowledge of legal documentation, court procedures, and relevant laws.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients, opponents, and courts.
Travel to various locations to adduce evidence and represent the company's interests.
Proactively comply with court awards and ensure timely response to legal matters.
Maintain accurate MIS and data-related work, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective case resolution.
Stay updated on legal developments and best practices in the field of MACT claims.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, offering strategic solutions to their legal issues.

Qualifications

Law degree with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in MACT claims.
Strong knowledge of legal principles, documentation, and court proceedings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned regions.
Proficiency in using legal software and tools for case management.
Analytical skills to review and interpret legal documents and case files.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and guide a team.
A proactive and solution-oriented approach to legal challenges.
