Position: CNC Machine Operator \- UAV Components Manufacturing

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to produce precision components for our advanced UAV systems. You will operate multi\-axis CNC machines to manufacture complex aerospace parts to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
· Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines and turning centres
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and CNC programs
· Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine calibration
· Conduct first article and in\-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
· Maintain production schedules while ensuring quality standards
· Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
· Document production data and maintain quality records
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma plus technical training in CNC operations
· 2+ years of CNC machining experience (aerospace/defence preferred)
· Proficiency with Fashanu, Has, or similar CNC controls
· Knowledge of G\-code programming and CAM software
· Experience machining aluminium, steel, and exotic alloys
· Strong mathematical and blueprint reading skills
Preferred Qualifications
· Associate degree in manufacturing or machining technology
· Experience with 4th and 5th axis machining operations
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
· Experience with CAD/CAM software (Master cam, SolidWorks CAM)
· AS9100 or aerospace quality system experience
Compensation: $60,000 \- $80,000 annually based on experience + benefits
