Job Description - Community Manager

Elevation Capital is a leading venture capital firm providing seed and early-stage capital for emerging companies in India. With a history of investing since 2002, Elevation Capital has deployed almost $2 billion of capital across various sectors including Consumer Internet, SaaS, Fintech, Consumer Brands, Edtech, Healthtech, and Web3/Crypto. The firm operates from offices in Bengaluru, Gurgaon, and Salt Lake City.

 

About the Role:

As a Community Manager at Elevation Capital, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong community platforms that facilitate connections among various stakeholders including founders, operators, domain experts, and investors. You will work closely with the VP - Community Development, as well as the investment teams, to execute community and events initiatives for both the overall Fund and specific sectors.

Job Location: Bangalore or Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the community team to conceptualize and execute community building initiatives for the overall Fund and specific sectors
  • Coordinate end-to-end execution of Elevation open events, such as Elevation Kickstarters
  • Project manage different vendor partners for community initiatives and events
  • Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders to execute partnered community initiatives 
  • Liaise closely with different investment teams from each sector to execute their community priorities in a customized fashion
  • Manage internal community platform(s) and tools to aid in community engagement and value creation

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in building and scaling community programs, preferably in large organizations.
  • Past experience in community engagement and event management would be advantageous.
  • Experience in the tech/startup/B2B sectors is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues and execute effective programs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a high level of ownership.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
