Job Title: Community Mobiliser – Counselling & Support

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Mobiliser – Counselling & Support to work under the TB Mukt Janjyati Program. The candidate will be responsible for providing counselling and continuous support to TB patients and their families, promoting treatment adherence, reducing stigma, and ensuring successful completion of treatment through regular follow -up and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide counselling to TB patients and their family members regarding treatment and care.
  
• Educate beneficiaries on treatment adherence, medication schedules, and infection prevention practices.
  
• Address patient concerns, misconceptions, and social stigma related to tuberculosis.
  
• Conduct regular follow -up visits and provide ongoing support throughout the treatment journey.
  
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, community leaders, and stakeholders to ensure patient well -being.
  
• Maintain accurate counselling records, patient interaction reports, and follow -up documentation.
  
• Support awareness and community engagement activities related to TB prevention and treatment.
  
• Assist in identifying and addressing barriers to treatment adherence.
  

Requirements

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate preferred.
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience in community health, counselling, social work, NGO, healthcare outreach, or related field activities.
  
• Strong interpersonal, counselling, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and community members.
  
• Comfortable working in field -based environments and traveling regularly within assigned areas.
  
• Basic documentation and reporting skills.
