Job Description - Compliance Analyst, Creator Platform

Rockstar India is on the lookout for passionate Compliance Analysts to join our Community team, to support the ongoing growth of the Rockstar Games Creator Platform, which includes the FiveM and RedM modification platforms for Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2.


This is a full-time, in-office position based in Rockstar’s large game development studio in Bangalore, India. 


WHAT WE DO



  • The Rockstar Games Creator Platform Team delivers a technology platform that enables players to experience community created content on fully customized dedicated servers, allowing creators to build their own game modes and modifications using various scripting languages.

  • We help ensure that user-generated content from our creators follows Rockstar Games’ policies, helping create a safe and welcoming environment for all users.

  • We develop processes using technology solutions to handle moderation at scale across Rockstar Games’ user-generated content ecosystem.


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Review and verify player-submitted reports, investigate community servers using open-source intelligence and internal tools, and apply policies as needed.

  • Review server ban appeals and issue decisions in line with established policy.

  • Be responsible for implementing Rockstar Games policies across Creator Platform products, including FiveM, RedM, and Cfx Marketplace.

  • Triage and call out player reports to relevant internal teams, such as Threat Intel, Trust and Safety and Customer Experience.

  • Handle incoming volume of player reports while adhering to departmental SLAs and metrics.

  • Be a subject matter expert on policy and moderation related topics, partnering closely with the wider Creator Platform team.

  • Identify policy gaps and propose improvements to policies or workflows for team leads.

  • Maintain a safe and fair player ecosystem by evaluating user reports, user generated content, and handling required communications or appeals with infringing users.


REQUIREMENTS



  • 2 + years of experience in Compliance, Trust and Safety, Moderation, Investigation or player/user facing roles or equivalent.

  • Experience with ticketing and workflow systems (like Zendesk, Salesforce), and escalation practices.

  • Strong understanding of UGC (user-generated content), modding communities, or live-service operations.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to interpret, understand, and implement community guidelines in user‑generated content platforms.

  • Ability to investigate using open-source intelligence.

  • Good knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and MS Office for reporting and documentation.

  • Experience with Figma, Discourse, and Discord.

  • Passion for Rockstar Games and its gaming ecosystem.

  • Good understanding of computer engineering, automobiles or fashion.

  • Prior experience in handling or participating in roleplaying, gaming or modding communities, particularly within the Grand Theft Auto and FiveM/RedM ecosystem.

  • Familiarity with programming and scripting in Lua, JavaScript or C#.
