Compliance Officer

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• 3-5 years of experience in Compliance and Legal functions
• Strong knowledge of IFSCA, AML/KYC, Companies Act, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with domestic/international fund structures.

The firm specializes in asset-backed private credit investments, supporting financial inclusion while delivering sustainable growth through disciplined risk management and strong governance.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support end-to-end compliance and legal activities for domestic and international fund structures.
• Assist in managing fund operations, including investor onboarding, regulatory filings, compliance monitoring, and fund governance.
• Coordinate Board Meetings, Investor Meetings, Committee Meetings, and fundraising-related activities, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and documentation.
• Liaise with regulators, investors, legal advisors, auditors, fund administrators, and external consultants to ensure smooth execution of compliance requirements.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to IFSCA, SEZ, Companies Act, AML/KYC, FATCA/CRS, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Review and maintain statutory records, compliance trackers, agreements, and corporate documentation.
• Assist in reviewing income tax filings, regulatory submissions, and other compliance-related documentation.
• Support legal documentation, contract review, and regulatory correspondence.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of compliance obligations and operational deliverables.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• Strong understanding of compliance, corporate legal matters, and fund operations.
• Exposure to offshore fund structures, particularly Luxembourg-based funds, will be highly preferred.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interact confidently with senior management, investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and execution capabilities.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
