Component Engineeer

Position is required to be with Mechanical, Production or Plastic engineering graduate with proficiency in molding and casting tool development. Should have proficiency in handling 2D or 3D designs and should have expertise in NX software and other designing software   Experience in Molds, Die casting tool design and development, trouble shooting for 5 to 10 years in area of new Part Developments- New projects in this area. Should able to identify root cause defect analysis in running or new tools and resolve the same quickly.  Should be able to do capacity planning and timely do the replacement tool planning. Should be able to support drawing amendments (Dimensional changes, Raw material changes etc.) initiated by R&D get the appropriate tool modification quotes from supplier and executing the same. very good in cross functional collaboration with R&D, Procurement, Quality Inspection, Production etc. Should able to resolve customer complains and initiate cost reduction measures. Do replacement budget planning, tool audits, supplier evaluations and supplier VDA 6.3 audits. Maintain all necessary documentation required for IMS (ISO and EHS ), drive safety and other productivity improvements at supplier. Successfully take care of internal audits. Maintain good commination and collaboration in local and international cross functional teams. Should have a positive attitude and overcome the challenges in working environment with own innovative thinking. Required to  visit the suppliers for initial evaluation, during new part development, handling amendments in part or resolving customer complain or eliminating production supply chain challenges. Maintain various system data and records.
