Job Description – Construction Planning Manager

Position: Construction Planning Manager
Experience: 2–5 Years
Location: Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh (Project Site)

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Planning Manager to support project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities for large-scale infrastructure and programme management projects. The role involves preparing project schedules, tracking progress, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Monitor project progress and update baseline and look-ahead schedules.
• Assist in resource planning, productivity analysis, and progress measurement.
• Generate weekly and monthly MIS reports and project dashboards.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and client teams to track milestones.
• Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Support delay analysis and documentation for project controls.
• Ensure compliance with project planning standards and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction planning and project controls, preferably in infrastructure, transportation, or urban development projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to EPC, PMC, or Programme Management Consultancy projects.
• Knowledge of project scheduling techniques, earned value management, and progress reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple priorities.
