What You Will Do:

• Assist consulting teams on impact evaluations of utility energy efficiency and demand response programs.
• Perform technical and economic analyses; data collection; spreadsheet creation and management.
• Assess energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies Collection and input of energy efficiency measure characterizations in proprietary software.

What You Will Need:

• B.E. or B. Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering with an emphasis on analysis, logical reasoning, or problem solving. Experience with HVAC is a plus.
• 0 - 2 years’ experience working with energy efficiency or demand side management.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V Lookups, Pivot Tables, Regressions).
• Strong interest in energy efficiency, renewable energy, distributed generation, and advanced technologies.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients based in the U.S.
• Able to work in second shift (2 pm to 11 pm).

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with R, Python, or other programming languages.
• Experience in Building simulation software (For example: EnergyPlus, BEopt, OpenStudio, Trane TRACE, Carrier HAP, etc.)
• Field experience collecting primary data, such as energy usage data, equipment operation data, or equipment characteristics for the purposes of building energy audits or energy savings analyses.
• Excellent at visualizing data, synthesizing insights, and storytelling with data.
