Role Description

Role Description

We are seeking a hands-on Technical SME to lead the design and delivery of bidirectional, near-real-time API integrations between Oracle Fusion ERP and SAP Concur Expense using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) with the native SAP Concur Adapter, eliminating file-based/manual processes and improving controls, auditability, and scalability.

Role and responsibilities

• Own end-to-end integration architecture for Fusion–Concur (patterns, orchestration, retries, idempotency, correlation IDs).


• Build/configure OIC integrations using SAP Concur Adapter and Fusion APIs (REST/SOAP).


• Implement outbound sync: Employee + Cost Center (and related master data) from Fusion to Concur to prevent stale coding.


• Implement inbound flow: Approved Concur expense reports into Fusion for posting to GL/AP/Projects.


• Enable reconciliation flow: Payment / posting status back to Concur to improve employee visibility and reduce tickets.


• Design robust error handling, monitoring, alerting, and operational runbooks for production support readiness.


• Collaborate with Finance/AP/GL stakeholders to finalize mappings, posting rules, and exception handling; guide delivery team and unblock dependencies.


• Support core business hours in the Eastern time zone (till 11 PM IST)

Technical Skills

Technical skills requirements

• 8–12+ years in enterprise integration; 2–3+ years hands-on OIC (or similar iPaaS).


• Strong experience integrating Oracle Fusion ERP (Financials/HCM) via APIs; understanding of posting constraints (periods, validations, account combos).


• Experience integrating SAP Concur Expense (expense lifecycle, approvals, reimbursement/payment status).


• Solid knowledge of integration best practices: security, token/auth, data mapping, reconciliation, observability.

Nice-to-have skills 

• Experience with multi-entity / multi-country finance rollouts and higher transaction volumes.


• Familiarity with DevOps for integrations (CI/CD, environments, release governance) and audit/compliance needs.
