At Concept Reply, we are hiring ECU Test Engineers to join our connected vehicles team. In this role, you will work on testing next-generation automotive ECUs using CAN, SOME/IP, Ethernet, and UDS protocols, with a focus on HIL and SIL environments. Our ideal candidate is hands-on with CAN tools, experienced in Python/CAPL scripting, and brings a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute ECU testing procedures using CAN, SOME/IP, Ethernet, and UDS protocols.
- Develop automated test scripts using Python and CAPL for validation tasks.
- Perform test planning, execution, and result analysis on HIL and SIL platforms.
- Analyze communication logs using CANoe and CANalyzer to diagnose and debug issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality assurance and compliance with automotive standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols: CAN, SOME/IP, Ethernet, and UDS.
- Proficiency in using Vector tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer for test automation and diagnostics.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and CAPL for test development and execution.
- Practical exposure to both Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) systems.
- Experience in ECU functional testing across various automotive domains.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows for version control and collaborative development.
- Exposure to automotive testing standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE).
- Experience in creating reusable test libraries and automation frameworks.
- Basic understanding of vehicle diagnostics, DTC analysis, and flashing tools.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills using standard formats and tools.
