About the Role:

We are currently hiring an experienced and dedicated Consultant Interventional Cardiologist to join a leading multi-specialty hospital. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions and have hands-on experience in performing a wide range of interventional cardiology procedures. You will be part of a high-performing team committed to delivering exceptional cardiac care using the latest diagnostic tools and therapeutic techniques.

This role requires a proactive and compassionate individual who can deliver patient-centered care and is also keen to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Diagnosis & Consultation:
  Evaluate and manage patients with complex cardiac disorders. Conduct detailed physical examinations and recommend appropriate diagnostic tests including ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and angiograms.
• Interventional Procedures:
  Perform interventional procedures such as coronary angioplasty, stenting, balloon angioplasty, catheterization, and other non-surgical treatments of heart disease.
• Emergency Cardiac Care:
  Provide emergency care and interventions for acute cardiac events such as myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest.
• Inpatient & Outpatient Management:
  Oversee the management of both inpatient and outpatient cardiac cases, ensuring timely treatment and follow-up care for all patients under your supervision.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
  Work in coordination with cardiac surgeons, radiologists, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to plan and deliver integrated care.
• Patient Education & Counselling:
  Guide patients and their families on the nature of heart conditions, available treatment options, lifestyle changes, and preventive care strategies.
• Clinical Documentation & Compliance:
  Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including patient histories, diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-ups in accordance with hospital and legal standards.
• Training & Mentorship:
  Assist in training junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff. Share knowledge and updates on the latest interventional cardiology practices.
• Continuous Learning:
  Stay up-to-date with advancements in cardiology through conferences, workshops, and medical journals to ensure best-in-class care delivery.

Eligibility Criteria:

• DM/DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in interventional cardiology.
• Valid registration with the Medical Council of India or respective State Medical Council.
