Qualification:

• Fellowship / FNB in Oculoplasty preferred

• MS / DNB Ophthalmology

• Fellowship / FNB in Paediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus preferred

Key Responsibilities

Oculoplasty Surgeon

• Diagnose and manage eyelid, lacrimal, orbital, and facial disorders

• Perform oculoplastic and reconstructive surgeries

• Manage trauma, eyelid malpositions, orbital diseases, and lacrimal disorders

• Conduct OPD consultations and surgical procedures

• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation

Paediatric Ophthalmologist & Strabismus Surgeon

• Diagnose and treat pediatric eye disorders

• Manage squint (strabismus), amblyopia, refractive errors, and congenital eye diseases

• Perform pediatric ophthalmic and strabismus surgeries

• Counsel parents regarding treatment plans and follow-up care

• Coordinate with optometrists, orthoptists, and OT teams

Skills Required

• Strong clinical and surgical expertise in respective subspecialties

• Excellent patient counselling and communication skills

• Professional and ethical approach to patient care

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
