Roles & responsibilities
•Analyze fixed asset registers (FARs), perform balance sheet reconciliations and asset classing
•Independently prepare/update valuation models and report for Capital Equipment / Personal Property /Plant & Equipment
•Set up the fully integrated valuation models and prepare majority sections of valuation reports based on client FAR and inputs provided by the engagement team
•Review third party valuation/management reports for reasonableness
•Perform market research to estimate replacement costs, useful lives and depreciation techniques for different types of machinery and equipment
•Stay updated on current business, economic and regulatory developments relevant to our clients
•Review the work of/guide team members
•Build strong professional relationship with onshore teams through project work
Educational qualifications
•CA / CFA / MBA (Specialization in Finance & Investment Management) Management)
Work experience
•The candidate must have 3 to 5 years of working experience in real estate / capital equipment valuation roles
•Good understanding of capital equipment valuation concepts and valuation methodologies (income, market and indirect and direct cost approaches)
Mandatory technical & functional skills
- Command over accounting and financial statements analysis
- Knowledge of relevant respective local GAAP or IFRS standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong business writing and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)
- Command in using research databases like MVS, ASA, LBS and Eurostat
