Consultant - PRC

Position Overview: 

KPMG is seeking an Consultant for the Advisory Digital Project, Risk, and Compliance team. This role supports the Technology Risk Review (TRR) process to help ensure technology solutions align with firm policies, risk standards, and compliance requirements. The individual in this role will manage TRRs for assigned solutions, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, and help drive timely, well-documented review outcomes. 

This role requires strong project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills. The Consultant will work closely with Advisory, Risk Management, Office of General Counsel, Security, Privacy, Procurement, and other stakeholders to support efficient review execution.

• Manage the end-to-end TRR process for assigned solutions, including scoping, preparation, scheduling, facilitation, action item tracking, and documentation of approvals. 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned TRRs, coordinating with Advisory, Risk Management, Office of General Counsel, Security, Privacy, Procurement, and other stakeholders to drive timely completion. 

• Ensure TRR activities, decisions, and outcomes align with firm policies, risk standards, and applicable compliance requirements. 

• Track and communicate review progress, including milestones, dependencies, open items, risks, issues, and outcomes, to relevant stakeholders. 

• Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies, and support mitigation planning throughout the review life cycle. 

• Contribute to process, template, and governance improvements that increase the efficiency and consistency of the TRR process. 

• Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or equivalent education and experience preferred. 

• Relevant experience at KPMG or another professional services firm preferred. 

• Demonstrated project management skills, a strong client service mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. 

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with business and cross-functional stakeholders. 

• Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and translate business, risk, and compliance needs into clear requirements and practical next steps. 

• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and learning new risk, compliance, and technology concepts as needed.
