About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist specializing in CT and MRI to join our diagnostic imaging team at a reputed multi-speciality hospital. This position requires a detail-oriented and highly analytical medical professional who will play a critical role in supporting the diagnosis and treatment plans through accurate radiological evaluations.

The Consultant Radiologist will work with advanced imaging modalities, interpreting complex CT and MRI scans, and collaborating closely with referring clinicians and specialists to deliver timely and precise diagnostic reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Radiological Evaluation: Independently perform and interpret CT (Computed Tomography) and MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scans with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Diagnostic Reporting: Generate clear and comprehensive diagnostic reports for CT and MRI studies, ensuring timely delivery to the referring physicians.
• Consultation & Communication: Collaborate and communicate effectively with other clinicians, including surgeons, oncologists, neurologists, and orthopedists, to support clinical decision-making.
• Patient Interaction: Explain imaging procedures to patients and address any concerns, ensuring patient comfort and cooperation during scans.
• Equipment Oversight: Ensure the optimal functioning of imaging equipment, assist in calibration and troubleshooting when necessary, and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control programs and ensure all radiological procedures are performed in accordance with regulatory and institutional standards.
• Clinical Supervision: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior radiologists, technicians, and radiology support staff to maintain high standards of diagnostic accuracy and workflow efficiency.
• Interdisciplinary Meetings: Actively participate in clinical case discussions, tumor boards, and interdisciplinary meetings to support holistic patient care.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date documentation of diagnostic findings, patient histories, and other essential records in the hospital’s digital systems.
• Continuing Education: Stay updated with advancements in radiology, new imaging techniques, and AI-integrated diagnostic tools to ensure best practices in radiological assessments.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: MD or DNB in Radiodiagnosis from a recognized institution.
• Licensing: Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or respective State Medical Council.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-MD/DNB experience in a diagnostic setting with a strong emphasis on CT and MRI modalities.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in operating and interpreting modern CT and MRI systems; knowledge of PACS/RIS software and digital workflows.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional diagnostic precision with the ability to identify subtle abnormalities in complex imaging.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings to both medical staff and patients.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Patient-Centric Approach: Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on ethical and evidence-based practice.
