Reporting to the Head of Consulting, our Principal Consultants are an integral part of the leadership team. As part of this industry-leading team you define and implement cloud-based solutions that set the benchmark for best-in-class practices and enterprise architecture guidelines.

Consulting Excellence

• Building Relationships & Strategy Execution
• Builds and nurtures deep relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and partners.
• Leads a team of Amdocs cloud consulting experts, developing and implementing strategies for customer engagements with global and regional impact.
• Sets standards for good communication, sound decision-making, and active problem-solving.
• Reviews business plans against the organisation's strategic mandate.
• Considers the long-term application and commercial viability of current research activities.
• Brings deep technical expertise and consults effectively at all organizational levels.
• Influences at scale as a trusted adviser for enterprise clients, excelling in business development, people management, relationship building, cloud solutions, and program management.
• Cloud Adoption & Technology Implementation
• Drives C-level discussions, collaborating with clients and Amdocs teams to define cloud adoption and DevOps strategies.
• Provides guidance to business and application delivery teams to maximize cloud technology benefits.
• Supports clients in troubleshooting issues in test and production environments, identifying root causes and solutions.
• Demonstrates expertise in delivering solutions in security-conscious and heavily regulated environments.
• Applies cutting-edge big data and machine learning technologies to build, manage, and automate data pipelines and analytics platforms.
• Builds production-grade end-to-end analytics solutions with Data Engineering, Data Science, and business teams.
• Creates data governance blueprints and reference architectures for analytics use cases.
• Evaluates state-of-the-art technologies such as cloud-optimized computing clusters and serverless data processing.
• Establishes best practices in data engineering and ensures quality through code reviews.
• Monitors and evolves data analytics platforms to support business-driven use cases.

• Forms strong team relationships by leading, coaching, and motivating members while resolving blockers.
• Encourages breakthrough ideas, fresh perspectives, and new opportunities.
• Fosters a culture that promotes high-performing teams.
• Identifies and mentors emerging consultants across Amdocs.

• Develops, manages, and continuously improves core internal processes, creating documentation for learning and reuse.
• Contributes to systemic learning and enablement on complex cloud transformation projects.
• Specializes and deepens knowledge to provide expert consulting.
• Teaches Amdocs learning programs to employees and clients.
• Creates data transformation playbooks and best practices to help clients maximize cloud investments.

Growth Strategy & Thought Leadership

• Supports pursuit teams in securing multi-year transformation deals.
• Works with leadership to implement new offerings and solutions within accounts.
• Serves as a brand evangelist and thought leader.
• Writes White Papers and speaks at industry and partner events about data transformation.
• Presents case studies and cloud solutions at meetups, conferences, and technology events.
• Identifies opportunities to access new markets, services, and clients while conducting pre-sales activities.
• Adapts priorities and business plans based on changing market and client demands.
