Job Description - Content Manager

Broad Function:

We are seeking an analytical thinker with an audience-first mindset to fill the position of Content Manager. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the B2B content marketing space and possess the ability to leverage data to develop a content strategy aligned with specific business goals and objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Content Writer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing, managing and executing a comprehensive content strategy and content calendar.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create various types of content such as case studies, whitepapers, landing pages, offers, and more.
  • Conducting research and ideating to produce engaging content assets such as blog posts, e-books, infographics, emails, newsletters, social media posts, and sales collateral.
  • Repurposing existing content and creating new ideas for content marketing and lead generation.
  • Writing video scripts to support the content strategy.
  • Implementing SEO best practices to improve content visibility and organic traffic.
  • Ensuring that all content is optimized to drive traffic, engagement, and leads.
  • Providing assistance to team members on other written materials as needed.
  • Managing freelance writers when required.
  • Taking ownership of content delivery to support product or marketing projects, including email campaigns and sales collateral.
  • Contribute to employer branding activities



Requirements

Key skills required for the role:

  • 7-9 years of experience in content writing or marketing communication, preferably in the B2B sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing circumstances, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong understanding of which platform is best suited for different types of content.
  • Proficiency in conducting secondary research.
  • Good time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven approach with a good understanding of Google Analytics, social media analytics, and other relevant tools.
  • Experience in online community building.
