Job Title: Content Marketer 

As a Content Marketer, you will play a key role in shaping Swivl’s brand voice, driving engagement, and creating compelling content that communicates our product value to small and midsize businesses (SMBs). You will help produce high-quality content across digital platforms, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure consistent, quality storytelling that aligns with Swivl’s mission. This role requires a strong understanding of B2B SaaS marketing, excellent writing skills, and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, persuasive narratives.

Our powerful FSM platform helps businesses in plumbing, electrical, landscaping, roofing, and other service industries streamline operations and maximize profitability. With nearly a decade of real-world validation, we are now scaling our technology, enhancing our UI/UX, and introducing new innovations to disrupt the FSM landscape.

Responsibilities: 

Content that converts

• Blogs that rank and get read
• Social posts that don’t sound like ChatGPT wrote them
• Email campaigns people actually open (subject line game strong)
• Ad copy that makes tired business owners stop scrolling
• Web pages that turn “just looking” into “take my money”

SEO that matters

• Keyword research for people who don’t speak SaaS
• Build backlinks (ethically - we’re not monsters)
• Get us ranking for “plumbing business software,” not “enterprise resource planning solutions”
• Make Google love us as much as we love small businesses

You're Perfect If

• You can explain complex stuff simply (bonus: without using the word "seamless")
• You actually enjoy learning about unsexy industries (the profit margins in junk removal are fascinating)
•  You know the difference between writing for SEO and writing for humans (hint: humans win)
• You can smell corporate BS from a mile away and refuse to write it
• You get weirdly excited about A/B testing email subject lines
• You don't need someone looking over your shoulder, you just do the work
• You’ll definitely need to be biased towards action to be hired

Required Experience

Must-haves

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment
• Demonstrated expertise in SEO strategy and execution, with measurable results in improving organic visibility and engagement
• Strong portfolio of writing samples showcasing versatility across blogs, website copy, email campaigns, and ad content
• A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Hands-on experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and SEO platforms such as Ahrefs or SEMrush

Nice-to-haves

• Experience creating content for blue-collar or trade-based industries
• Strong understanding of small business operations and challenges
• Proven ability to craft engaging video scripts and marketing copy
• Basic design proficiency (Canva-level or similar)
• Ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and formats
• Detail-oriented with strong research and storytelling skills
