Control Room Operator

Position: Control Room Operator (DRI Process)

Our client, operating an integrated steel plant in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, seeks an experienced Control Room Operator to monitor and optimize the Sponge Iron Unit (DRI) process for safe and efficient production.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain control room systems, including valves, pumps, and motors
• Monitor process parameters, adjust as needed to ensure optimal production
• Troubleshoot operational issues and maintain accurate production records
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and coordinate with team members for smooth operations
• Participate in training to refine skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• ITI, High school diploma, or technical degree preferred
• At least 3+ years' experience in a similar role within the steel industry
• Knowledge of DRI processes, control systems, and troubleshooting techniques
• Strong communication and adaptability for shift work and high-pressure environments
