About the Role:

This role is a dynamic opportunity to manage diverse environmental initiatives. It involves leading projects across a broad spectrum of critical areas, including Biodiversity & Conservation, Pollution & Environment, Renewable Energy & Energy Transition, and Climate Resilience & Adaptation. The work will focus on pollution control, energy management, circular economy models, and carbon credits, all while building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to drive community engagement and ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Develop project objectives, deliverables, and execution plans. Oversee project timelines and track progress to ensure alignment with goals.
• Partnerships and Stakeholder Management: Identify and build strategic alliances with expert organizations, government agencies, NGOs, and civil society groups.
• Team Leadership: Manage a project team by delegating responsibilities, setting clear Key Result Areas (KRAs), and providing guidance and training to enhance their performance.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge on the various project topics to provide effective direction to the project teams.
• Reporting and Documentation: Regularly document project activities and outcomes. Submit project status and fund utilization reports to donors within committed timelines.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Master's degree in Social Sciences, Management, or another relevant field.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 2-10 years of experience is required, with a focus on project design, on-the-ground implementation, and management of large-scale projects.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrable knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, including project planning, logical frameworks, and stakeholder mapping. Proficiency in conducting needs assessments, developing implementation plans, and conducting monitoring and evaluation is essential.
• Personal Attributes: The candidate must be a dynamic and versatile team player with excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi. Efficiency in Marathi is an added advantage. Willingness to travel throughout India is also required.
