Job Description - Copywriter

At IDEX, we believe remarkable talent, enthusiasm, and creative thinking add up to great
work. We are looking for a creative thinker with excellent writing and research skills to join
our team as a Copywriter.
As a member of the creative team, you will write and edit copy for a variety of projects,
including print, web, mobile, video, and social media. You will work closely with the account
management and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop impactful
messaging.
The role requires extensive research and interviews to gain a deep understanding of each
client’s industry, products, services, branding, and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate
is a quick learner with a versatile writing style and a passion for delivering compelling

Requirements

• Thrive in a fast -paced, collaborative environment with a high -volume workload and
short turnaround times.
• Continually raise the bar on creativity by developing fresh, engaging copy that
resonates with target audiences and drives action.
• Adapt tone, voice, and style according to different industries, brands, and audience
segments.
• Maintain up -to -date knowledge of communication trends and client -related industry
developments.
• Ensure consistency in messaging by following brand guidelines and style standards.
• Strategize and contribute creative solutions to support clients’ business objectives.
• Proactively pitch innovative ideas and content concepts.
• Collaborate effectively with design, account management, and marketing teams.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related discipline.
• 0 - 2 years of professional copywriting experience with a strong portfolio of work.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting deadlines.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Experience or interest in the fashion industry is an added advantage.
• Social media management or content marketing experience is a plus.
• Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides are preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and appreciation for great design.
• Demonstrated proactively, accountability, ownership, and leadership qualities.
