Role & Responsibilities – Corporate Legal

•

Provide corporate legal advisory to business teams and leadership on day-to-day legal, regulatory, and commercial matters.

•

Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements, including:

o

Confidentiality Agreements (NDAs)

o

Service Agreements

o

Data Sharing & Data Processing Agreements

o

Channel Partner & Vendor Agreements

o

Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies

•

Support the business in ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance, including monitoring changes in applicable laws and preparing internal compliance notes, SOPs, and checklists.

•

Advise on corporate governance matters; assist in policy drafting, updates, approvals, and implementation in line with regulatory requirements.

•

Support the Board and internal committees by preparing legal inputs, documentation, and advisory notes for specific initiatives and projects.

•

Manage and coordinate with external law firms and legal consultants for corporate, commercial, and compliance-related matters; review and finalize drafts prepared by external counsel.

•

Handle pre-litigation matters, including drafting and responding to legal notices, resolving disputes through negotiation, and advising on risk mitigation strategies.

•

Assist business teams in closing strategic deals and partnerships, identifying legal risks and ensuring contractual protections for KredX.

•

Liaise with internal stakeholders to collect, review, and maintain legal documentation required for transactions, audits, and compliance purposes.

•

Oversee and support litigation from a corporate and compliance perspective, including coordination with external counsel and internal teams where required.

•

Conduct internal training and awareness sessions for teams on legal, compliance, and governance-related topics.

•

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws applicable to the organization, particularly those impacting financial services, fintech, contracts, data protection, and corporate operations.

Qualifications & Skills

•

Law degree from a reputed university.

•

3–5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal, contracts, or in-house legal roles.

•

Strong experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.

•

Good understanding of corporate compliance and governance frameworks.

•

Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.

•

Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities.

•

Prior exposure to FinTech or financial services is an added advantage but not mandatory.
