Cost Accountant

Alumil, one of the most evolved and technologically advanced groups in research, development and producing of architectural aluminium systems in Europe, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.

The Cost Accountant will play a key role in analyzing and controlling the costs associated with our production processes. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of maintaining efficient cost management practices that align with our operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing actual costs to budgeted amounts.
• Assist in the creation of standard cost estimates for new or existing products.
• Monitor inventory balances, ensuring accurate costing and documenting any variances.
• Collaborate with production and procurement to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes with cost-related data.
• Provide insights to management regarding cost trends and cost structure optimization.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in cost accounting or a related position.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and methods.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
